Club History

Joondalup United Football Club is based in the Perth’s Northern Suburbs, with grounds at Prince Regent Park in Heathridge, Charonia Reserve in Mullaloo, and Beldon Park in Beldon.

Our club was established in 2000 within the Perth leagues, formed by a group of people with a passion for playing the game and creating programs for youth development and coaching.

Having worked our way through the Amateur leagues, JUFC was promoted to the State League in 2014 and claimed the title at the first attempt without losing a game.

For the 2014 season, Joondalup United was successful with an application to play in the Football West State League Division Two for the first time and claimed the league title by going undefeated.

In 2016, JUFC enjoyed its most successful season ever by winning the State League Division One and the State League Division One Reserves competitions to earn a spot in the National Premier League (NPL).

Since 2019, JUFC has been playing in Football West’s State League.

As well as its State League set up, the club partakes in the Sunday Amateur, Social and Vets divisions, while a Junior programme is now up and running.

Our top Amateur side now plays in the Premier Division after winning the Division One title in 2018, while the Reserves won the league in both 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The Junior side of the club continues to grow year-on-year, and numbers exceeded 300 for the 2017 campaign with teams in all age groups from 6s to 18s.

We pride ourselves on being a family focused club and have plans to continue our development over the coming years, , as evidenced by a recent partnership with European giants Glasgow Celtic who will run football camps for both our members and local community.

JUFC is a great club if you enjoy both the competitive and social aspects of football.
