SKIPPER Scott Hoyle will lead Joondalup United Football Club again for 2022.

Hoyle led the team to the Top 4 Cup title last season was a crucial part of the 2021 campaign for Joondalup United.

“I’m excited to be part of this club and team,”said the 25-year-old after the signing ceremony at Forrest Park.

Next season will be Hoyle’s third season entrusted with the armband.

“We are looking forward towards 2022 and the momentum is good. Everyone is professional in the squad which makes working with them easier,”added Hoyle.

“Joondalup United is a young club with so much success and to begin the captaincy is an honour. I would also like to thank the coaches, the club and all the members of the club including the Juniors, Amateurs, Masters and Womens for your ongoing support,” said Hoyle

Hoyle was a crucial part of head coach Nick Jennings squad last season which finish fourth on the table.

“I respect his loyalty and his leadership of the playing group. Scott leads by example with his actions both on and off the field, and I look forward to working closely with the him again in the new season,”said Jennings.

Club president Ghaz Ramli: “Scott (Hoyle) is a positive character that represents the Joondalup United culture and ethos. He is professional with the right attitude and mindset and the perfect candidate for our juniors as a role model. Joondalup United prides itself is producing responsible and respectable members of the community and his appointment is a testament to this.
