Nine players from Joondalup United’s 2019 Football West State League squad have committed to the club for the upcoming Division One season.
Captain Tony Taylor, who has been at JUFC for the best part of a decade, and vice captain Scott Hoyle are among those coming back for another campaign.
Versatile James Oldroyd, who took out both the Players’ Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year awards for 2019, is another key re-signing for coaches Ian McMurray and Nick Jennings.
The others on board are experienced keeper Alfie Brincat, full back Alex Robertson, the highly talented Jamie Gardiner, midfielders Ben Fairbairn and Conor Dolan and centre back Liam Mooney.
Those nine players join youngsters Callum Speed and Jack Carroll and experienced striker Jamie Gibson in the squad for 2020.
With preseason training underway, more signings will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
