JOONDALUP UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB is please to announce State side head coach Nick Jennings and assistant Steve Flint has been re-appointed for the 2022 season. After a fourth place finish and securing the Top 4 Cup, Jennings and Flint will be joined by Blaine Merredew as an assistant as he is promoted to the State first team from the State Reserve side. Joining the three, is Ben Fairbairn who will be team manager.
Our 2021 Under-18s coaching pair of Adam Buckley and Luke Green has been promoted to the State Reserve side as head coach and assistant respectively. Joining them as an assistant will be Oliver Cunningham.
Meanwhile, Sam Ellis moves from our Amateur side assistant coach role as the club’s Under 18s head coach. He will be assisted by Sean Kalaher who returns to the club after a season away.
“A memorable 2021 for the club as we grow from strength to strength but we are looking now towards 2022 and beyond. We would like to thank all the coaches and support staff for thier commitments and their motivation wish them the best for next season,”said JUFC vice-president Ghaz Ramli.
Meanwhile in our NPL Juniors set up JUFC is proud to appoint the following coaches as head coaches for each team.
Trent Pagnozzi will leading the Under-16s side while brothers Matthew Drake and Harry Drake will be head coach and assistant respectively in the Under 15s side.
Fresh from his NPL Juniors Under-13s Division 1 league win, Gary Curran will lead the Under-14s along with assistant Steve Gallagher and team manager Richard Maiden.
For our NPL Under-13s side, JUFC’s long serving junior coach Gary Jackson has been appointed the head coach for the Under 13s side. He will be assisted by the Paul Wallace for the NPL squad and Kevin Towers for the Development side.
Overlooking all football development will be Technical Director, Adam Buckley in his dual role.
