Joondalup United will continue to compete and thrive in the new Junior Development League (JDL).
The Juniors have been relishing and enjoying some great contests and games so far against all the top sides with all the coaching staff accredited with a Football Federation Australia (FFA) C license to deliver modern coaching methods allowing the juniors to compete against top-level teams.
The Coaching Philosophy is based on a proactive possession-based style with all the Juniors training exclusively with the ball at all times to maximise the training time they have available to them to improve control and technique which is vital in the modern game.
The Junior Coaches are focused on long-term development whilst preparing the players to be problem solvers with a holistic approach to deal with and prevent problems in the future.
Our Miniroos in the U8’s to U12’s are very strong and display some amazing football on match day so the future of our pathway from Miniroos to Juniors is very bright.
This will keep the club in a strong position within the football community for the future years ahead.
