Joondalup United can today confirm the appointment of Terry Maton as the State League Reserves coach for the 2019 season.

The experienced Maton, who holds a UEFA B Licence, joins the club following spells with Stirling Lions and Joondalup City.

At City, Maton oversaw their 18s team who finished second in consecutive seasons.

Prior to moving to Australia, Maton was based in the United Kingdom where he coached at Hayes and Yeading, Fulham Ladies National Premier League, and Middlesex Ladies Representative, among others.

Maton will support first team head coach Nick Jennings as JUFC look to bounce back from last season’s disappointing campaign.

Blaine Merredew and Adam Buckley will work with Maton at Reserves level and expressions of interest are now being sought from players keen to be part of the squad.
