Reid came to the club with plenty of experience having previously been with Stirling Lions as a National Premier League (NPL) coach and a Technical Director for the 6s to 11s age groups.
He will also be the club’s 18s coach for the upcoming State League campaign.

“Having coached one of our Junior NPL teams this year we have been impressed with Troy’s personal leadership and ability to get the best out of his players on and off the pitch.”
JUFC is looking to the future and aims to focus on professionalism, performance, club culture with a strong emphasis on Junior development.
As Technical Director, Reid will be in a key position and will be working with our great team of coaches to assist players develop and transition through Junior NPL teams into senior football.
“I am excited by the role and the direction the club is going with the youth development focus, and I think I can use my experience to help foster and develop that vision,” said Reid, who also coached his way through the youth and senior ranks at club and representative level in Albany.
“Obviously we want to continue to develop young footballers and be competitive in the NPL competitions.
“Most importantly we want to focus on developing players who will be the future of our first team over the coming years, not only to get us back into the senior NPL but to be competing at that level.”
Reid has already commenced his new role and is overseeing the Junior trials which are taking place at Beldon Park for the next few weeks.
