Whitmore claims top honours at JUFC Awards Night

Josh Whitmore has been rewarded for a superb 2017 season with the top two individual trophies at the 2017 Joondalup United Awards Night.

The all action midfielder was voted the Players’ Player of the Year and the Coach’s Player of the Year for his performances in the PlayStation 4 National Premier League (NPL).

Centre back Ross Edwards was another integral part of Nick Jennings’ first team squad, and he claimed the runner up Players’ Player of the Year trophy.

For the 20s, James Bruce took out the Players’ Player of the Year category, ahead of Sam Wynne who was the Coach’s Player of the Year.

Jordan Bertolini was the winner of the two 18s awards, pipping Josh Hart in the players’ vote.

There were two worthy winners of the Clubman of the Year awards, as Rudy Proctor claimed top prize and Michael Burgess took out the Masters category.
