Striker Alex Wild will play a second PS4 National Premier League (NPL) season in Joondalup United colours having re-signed with the club this weekend.
The 21-year-old scored five times in 16 appearances for JUFC last time round and will be hoping to better that in 2018.
“Alex is a hard working centre forward who is fully committed to JUFC and was keen to sign on early to display his loyalty to the club,” said JUFC coach Nick Jennings.
“His work ethic is second to none and last season he scored a number of crucial goals for us.
“He’s still very young and learning the game, I can see him making an impact in the forthcoming season; he’s a real handful for defenders and they certainly know they’ve been in a game whenever they come across our Boy Wonder!”
Wild began his senior career with JUFC in the Amateur League before making the switch to Bayswater City where he captained their 20s side to the Cool Ridge Reserves Cup title.
Having also played for Baysie’s first team on a number of occasions, Wild returned to JUFC for the club’s inaugural NPL season.
Wild joins new signings Johnny Chalmers and Elliot Tattersall in the first team squad ahead of preseason training.
