KidSport enables Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation, no matter their financial circumstances.
Eligible youth aged 5 to 18 years can apply for financial assistance to contribute towards club fees. The primary objective of KidSport is to ensure all Western Australian children can participate in sport and recreation clubs.
Subject to eligibility criteria, KidSport can contribute up to $500 per eligible child, towards applicant’s fees. If the application is successful, parents pay the club $500 less than the normal fee and the club receives the KidSport contribution direct from the local council.
