Jay Lang-thens his stay

JAY LANG re-signs for Joondalup United Football Club 2022 campaign.

The lanky centre-midfielder played a crucial part the Joondalup United’s league campaign as they finished fourth on the table.

The 30-year-old stalwart also managed to get 12 goals to his name in the season which saw him lift the Top 4 Cup with a win over Quinns FC in the final at Dorrien Gardens.

“I’m looking forward to another season and of course working with the rest of the squad,”said Lang, who is in his third season with the club.

“I would also like to thank the coaches and the club for the opportunity to play for Joondalup United,” added Lang, the runner-up in the Player’s Player at the club’s End of Season Awards ceremony in October.

Head coach Nick Jennings is excited with the re-signing of Lang.

“Jay (Lang) is an experienced State League player who has great quality on the ball. It’s pleasing that he has committed to JUFC for a third season and I look forward to working with him once again,”said Jennings.

“Welcome back, Jay (Lang). His contribution to the squad was vital last season and I am sure he will be crucial part of the 2022 campaign,” said club president Ghaz Ramli.
